I'm close to the 1000/4000 subs/hours threshold and I have this unnatural fear my channel will be rejected for monetization. Has anybody else went through this before?

Question

My videos are half documentaries/half recaps of the story of gaming, in SPANISH. Every video covers one specific famous game and centers on the creation/inspiration of the game along with a recap of the game's plot, all narrated by myself. So, kinda like a review channel without the review part.

People LOVE my videos. One fan has even gone as far as telling me I'm the best narrator he has ever heard. So while I've never been prouder of myself, I also want to be monetized.

I use game footage and game artwork. I also use footage from game trailers, anime and movies if the narrative calls for it, but only as a visual: I never use audio from said footage. The entire video is my voice and some background music.

Will I be ok or have any troubles with rejection? Should I change anything about my channel, or should I not worry about it right now? Any other similar youtubers care to share their experiences? Thanks in advance.
