E-commerce on page SEO

I work as an in-house SEO Specialist in an MNC and have had a lot of difficulties in reaching the decision makers to inform them of the impacts on the changes that they make due to the organisations thick hierarchy.

This month, for my category pages, they decided to move the only place I have for content from the top of the page to the bottom (right above the footer, below all the products which is infinite scroll by the way).

I have a strong hunch that my rankings will take a dive. Any thoughts?
