Have We Been Lied to About Oil?

‎It is commonly believed that oil is a ‘fossil fuel’; but this might not be the case. The belief is based on an idea that oil is produced from the compression of fossilized plant and animal remains over the course of hundreds of millions of years. The fact that only a finite quantity of fossilized remains can exist, has been used as the basis for the idea that only a finite quantity of oil can exist.‎

One of the main theories associated with the idea that oil is a ‘fossil fuel’; this theory, which became known as ‘Peak Oil’ claimed that, if extraction continued at the prevailing rate, the earth would soon ‘run out’ of oil.

However, not only has the oil industry continued to extract oil in huge volumes throughout the entire period since the 1970s, it has continued to discover new oil fields; all of which strongly suggests that the world is not about to ‘run out’ of oil and that oil exists in far greater abundance than has previously been estimated, or admitted.

The interesting ‘alternative’ theory about the origin of oil first emerged in the mid-20th century. This theory claims that oil is not a ‘fossil fuel’ but is ‘abiotic’ in nature; which means that it does not originate from any form of biological matter.

In his 2007 article entitled Confessions of an ‘ex’ Peak Oil Believer, William Engdahl explains that, in the late 1940s, Russian scientists had begun to conduct investigations into the nature of oil and ‘natural gas’ and concluded in 1956 that, “Crude oil and natural petroleum gas have no intrinsic connection with biological matter originating near the surface of the earth.”

This theory is highly controversial, at least as far as most members of the oil and gas industry are concerned, but there is ample evidence to support it. This evidence, which is almost exclusively restricted to Russian science journals, demonstrates that oil originates under the ground at levels that are far deeper than those at which any fossilized animal or plant remains are possible.

J F Kenney PhD, a geophysicist of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Joint Institute of the Physics of the Earth, states that,

“The modern Russian-Ukrainian theory of deep, abiotic petroleum origins recognizes that petroleum is a primordial material of deep origin which has been erupted into the crust of the Earth.”

This is not merely a ‘theory’; its principles have been implemented with success by the Russian oil industry, which, it should be noted, is one of the world’s largest producers of oil and gas.

In an interview, Colonel L. Fletcher proudly spills the beans about how oil was deliberately, incorrectly classified as a fossil fuel, when in fact it is abiotic.

If you want to learn more about the myth of “Peak Oil” I recommend the book Myths, Lies and Oil Wars by William Engdahl, which can be downloaded for free here.

The most significant consequence of this discovery is that high prices are no longer justifiable on the basis of a claim that oil is a ‘scarce resource’.

However, it should be noted that some of the most powerful ‘vested interests’ involve the members of families that have been involved in and even controlled the oil industry for decades. The level of control by these people and their associates over the oil and banking industries have enabled them at various times to manipulate oil prices to serve their own interests.

The existence of vast, and possibly unlimited, quantities of oil does not, however, justify its continued extraction, nor does it justify the use of chemicals derived from oil, known as petrochemicals, in the manufacture of the majority of everyday products. It certainly does not justify the use of petrochemical derived compounds, most of which are toxic, in ‘medicines’ or as ingredients of ‘food products’.

I sincerely hope that this theory of vast amounts of regenerating oil is false, for it is the lifeblood of the techno-industrial complex, which destroys everything in its path and contributes to the complete enslavement of mankind. Almost all of the horrendous miseries we face in the world, which is set to get worse and worse, is the result of the unnatural industrial system that has been built and maintained; primarily due to the use of oil.
