Is wearing a different color dress to my wedding offensive?

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this but I've really been struggling lately. I'm (F26) getting married this year and my mom (F62) and I are disagreeing over the dress color. It simply boils down to I don't feel very confident in white. I want to feel beautiful and confident on my wedding day and feel better about myself in black. We are having a small intimate outdoor wedding nothing fancy as we don't have the money for a big wedding. My mother looks at black as representing Satan but I don't see it like that. I don't feel the color of your clothes has any deeper meaning it's just clothes to me. I've always believed what's important is what's in your heart. This is causing a lot of stress between us and I am now second guessing myself. Would wearing black to my wedding really be offensive somehow? The dresses I've tried on are not revealing or anything it's solely the color we can't agree on
