These colors are so wonderful together!! I love the intensity!!
I think it's a great baby blanket size. You could keep going in-pattern with the colors you have, and if there is extra yarn, maybe make a cushion/pillow to match?
That reminds me of blankets my great grandmother used to make, I never met her but her blankets were always In our house 💜
Maybe use up every last bit of what you have, then fill in the rest of the rows in white? Idk if that would be too “scrappy” for what you’re going for. You could also frog the rows in that color and not use it in the blanket?
I'm trying to get rid of some of the acrylic yarn in my stash. I have run out of one of the colors, but don't want to buy more and defeat the point of the project.
Should I leave it a few rows short and move to the next color? I will likely run out of other colors too.
Or should I just stop the project here and call it a baby blanket? It is currently 35"× 42". I was originally going for a lapghan, about 60" long.
I’d keep going with what you have until the yarn is completely gone
I'd make a decreasing (vanishing/perishing) blanket. I mean I'd carry on and use the yarn I have, even if it means that the last segment of each colour may (and probably will) be narrower than the rest. In the end you'll have a lovely blanket and more space for new yarn. (:
