$400 for clobetasol ointment?!

wtf do i even do. i just been told i have LS in my anus area by my dermatologist. been experiencing burning and itching and discomfort in this area for the past 13 years and never knew what it was till just a few days ago. i was prescribed clobetasol ointment so i went to my pharmacy to pick it up; but then they tell me the ointment is not covered by insurance and that the cost of it is $400!? right now they’re telling me they’ve contacted my doctor for an alternative prescription, but cmon man. 400 for ointment is insane
