I'm hoping for the science victory leading to, new game + on a new planet.

Imagine if it allowed you to continue to play your civ in a newer version of Beyond Earth and the other civs that eventually arrive are the ones from your previous game. Then if you chose the supremacy ending you get the added bonus of new game ++ where you now have to conquer the previous map.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Not a science victory per se, but having the ability to move outside of the solar system be an end goal. Basically beyond what we know as Civilization currently.
Here are a number of building projects that would be really interesting:
- Space elevator.
- Terraforming of Mars/Venus
- Space Lasers
- Dyson Sphere (necessary for leaving the Solar system)
- Automation factories.

Main issue is that EA owns the game. So unless that changes, no remake.

Could be something really new and interesting like Moon colonization or elsewhere in the solar system. That would be awesome.

Now my unpopular opinion is to please bin off districts, I preferred the old way

Beyond earth had so much potential. The quest stuff was amazing and the health system was way better/more reasonable than amenities or happiness
The Health System was just Happiness in a different coat of paint. That being said, there were far more ways to increase your health in Beyond Earth, which was 5's greatest downfall imo.
I actually modded happiness out of the game in civ 5. I hated that shit
Basically meant that playing tall was your only option, and even then managing happiness wasn't always easy.
The fact that you had to share an almost identical playstyle between every Civ in V really helped to elevate Civ VI for me
I loved the satellite layer and the affinity system.
