Intellectual Connection with TBM Wife?

I am really struggling with this one. My TBM wife avoids intellectual discussions pretty much across-the-board.

What are your successes or failures in having any sort of intellectual discussion with your true believing wife? How have you set boundaries if you have any? How many of you have zero intellectual discussion due to threats to her faith?
