How ftp players can get Kang
The events and release methods suck....The only way a ftp player can get Kang is with a lvl 95 g17 Mr Sinister.....

This event has caused a lot of confusion. They’ve released statements further explaining it.
His actual release event hasn’t started yet. There will be a little bit of overlap between the current event and his actual release event.
It could be their way of trying to give us what we’ve been asking for: separating kraken events from the ones that are essential for core roster development (like the various month long events).
Since it’s Boundless (and money is king) I don’t think we’ll see a change in the events that make the last milestones attainable F2P though. For whatever reason the spenders must be buying more to complete milestones than they would if they were just offers in the store. Probably something with the psychology of being so close to the next milestone that it’s easier to justify internally.
Regardless, they’ve stuck with it even after we have mostly wrapped up the year long APOC stuff so this somewhat new whalestone system seems to have tested well for them.

All they had to do what not put the timer on the kang event. Let everyone get the chance to complete it at their own pace.

Starts the 23rd, seems like a similar event to hulkbuster. Orb Fragments from blitz so you'll probably get a decent amount of shards if you blitz a lot
