No Compression??

Rebuilt the top end of my 2001 250R about 1000kms ago, it's running like a DREAM, except for some days. Seemingly only on hot days, it gets absolutely NO compression. Eventually I'm able to start it, but it doesn't feel right. I feel like the only way this could be happening would be a stuck valve or something? Any ideas or fixes would be appreciated!
