Smart Speaker part 1

So i posted a little bit ago about build a smart speaker. I have two pis laying around so wanted to use one of them. I tried basically everything suggested in that thread. Volumio was nice but it doesn't offer the ability to send TTS to it so that didn't work. LMS seemed neet but it also seemed like way too much over head and without LMS on the squeeze pi there is no way to use it in ha. I finally landed on owntone, it has the ability to do Spotify and do my TTS responses and on top of that the simple UI is really nice. Just wanted to post this no someone else doesn't have to waste a weekend trying to do something like I did.
