does anyone else use zinc sunscreen and how the hell do you get it off without damaging your skin?

Routine Help

I have super sensitive skin, including rosacea, perioral dermatitis, and a dash of millia for flavour.

My doctor put me on metronidazole and told me to use non-occlusive sunscreen, so I've been using Ethical Zinc. I like it for the most part, my skin doesn't react to it, and I've noticed my redness has gone done.

However, I haven't found the right product to get it off. My doctor said to just use warm water, but that does nothing and my skin gets a very sexy white crust the next morning. I've tried TO's squalane cleanser but my dermatitis flared up. I've tried Cerave hydrating cleanser but it didn't remove it (even after double-cleansing), just moved the zinc around.

I can't use cloths or exfoliants so how the hell do I get this off? I've seen people suggesting oil cleansers, are there specific ones that are super gentle but tough enough to get the zinc off? Help pls!!
