connected to tower 75 miles away?

My phone connects to a tower approximately 75 miles away on band 13. Is this normal? I didn't think that was even possible? There are several towers closer to me that I was briefly able to connect to today while trying to set up a booster( bands 2, 66, and another 13). I obviously get the strongest signal from the one far away, but it's unusable due to congestion. I can get 20mbps at 3am though. Using network cell info lite app
