My friend and I both had intense closed eyed visuals after smoking weed on MDMA comedown. Does anybody else have a similar expirience?

I did pretty low amount of MDMA (85 mg initial dose, 30 mg redose, we are both really light tho) with a friend of mine. During the comedown, before we went to sleep, so about 3 hours after the second dose, we decided to smoke some weed to help us fall asleep.

We smoked half a joint each and went inside. When we turned of the light I started to have closed eyed visuals. Asked the friend. She had them as well.

The visuals started as a standard 2d moving colorful patterns, slowly changed into 3d patterns and structures and then morfed into more realistic scenarios. The last part lasted the longest and it was like watching youtube or TV full of short, surreal sketches.

At the beggining, the visuals were very tame and almost not there, but as the expirience continued, they were pretty intense, just as intense as they would be on averege doses of psychadelics. As I opened my eyes once, I had some opened eyed visuals as well, although the room was dark. The mindeset was quite trippy as well.

The weirdest part?

When I talked to my friend in the morning, she started describing her expirience. Her visuals went in exactly the same course. First 2d patterns, then 3d patterns and the what she descibed as "youtube," exactly as I descibed it in my had. So strange.

All of this already happened to me once in the past, but I cant recall anything but the "youtube" part and maybe some mild patterns in the beginning, but I am not completely sure. But my friend experiencing exactly the same thing at the same time really made me want to dig deeper into this.

So, anybody with a similar expirience? Did it happen to you in the same manner? Is this something normal? Did it happen in the same manner?

TLDR: Smoked weed with a friend on MDMA comedown. We both had quite intense closed eyed visiuals and we both experienced them in a very similar manner when it comes to their appearence and timing.
