Tips for flipping the roles?

Hi all!

I'm a woman, going for my PhD soon. My partner is neither male nor female (born intersex, but presents masculine). They don't work, and I kind of don't want them to. I'd love to take care of them as a perfect little house-spouse (bonus points because it rhymes!) but I have no idea how we'd even start down that road. Any tips for absolute beginners who are maybe doing this a little un-traditionally?
