“This life is a test”

What is your rebuttal to this? I usually say “when someone puts you through hard things for you to prove your loyalty to them it’s abuse” I mean how did you get to the conclusion that your real pain and suffering is not real that someone can toy around with you however they please hoping that you beg them for mercy in desperation i remember being a young Muslim my life was so hard I thought god just hated me and I was worthless to him that he can watch me go through these things and NEVER intervene. Anyways this is my take on the “this life is a test” statement it’s not a good enough reason and a sorry ass excuse to not intervene or do anything about peoples REAL suffering when/if you have the power to do so.Either this god can not do anything about it or he doesn’t want to which makes him complicit to this evil.
