[M4F] "Well, I couldn't very well just leave you there, and let God knows what happen to you; I had no choice other than to take you in." Purchasing a Monster Girl at an estate sale, but not the kind of prompt you usually see...

NSFW RP - Ongoing

[TL;DR -- Monster Girl's owner passes, and his grandson adopts her so she isn't forced out onto the street.]

(This is a repost, but it's also a banger that I've had a lot of fun with in the past. I'm reopening it now that I have a bit more time on my hands.)

[Context]

In this world, Monster Girls are considered second or even third rate citizens, and are bought and sold like property despite being intelligent, emotional creatures capable of complex thought and expressing themselves verbally. It's not uncommon for a rich or even upper-middle class family to own a Monster Girl, sometimes as a pet but often as some form of enslaved help, like a maid, nanny, whatever the case may be.

[Introduction]

The swing of the gavel finalized the bid, and in front of close to a hundred people, the grandson of the deceased took ownership of the last item on the docket for the day. It had been a grueling four hour process, but the estate sale had finally come to a close. It was truly disgusting the way that people, families, loved ones, and some strangers were willing to fight, sometimes physically, over cherished items and memories of a dead man. The grandfather clocks, the ornamental vases, paintings, cars, all of it needed to go, as the deceased, one Dr. Richard Branning, had left an absolutely convoluted, inexplicable will.

It was certified to have been drafted when he was of sound mind and body, but the decisions that had been made therein were nothing less than confusing. He had left his liquid assets to his children-- or, well, specifically one of his four children, Susan Wrothshire. He had given his beach home in the Caribbean, which he rarely ever visited despite having staff working around the clock, to his best friend of over sixty years, a shock to many who didn't even know the man had existed and were hoping to get their hands on it. Other items, other vehicles, other personal affects were divvied up and given out here and there, and the rest was to be auctioned off, benefitting a charity foundation that he had supported.

And then there was the cabin in the mountains, which he had, perhaps unexpectedly, left to one of his grandchildren, Richard James Branning The Third, who preferred simply to be called Trey, a play on being the third. Trey had known that he was the favorite grandchild, hell he was the only one that the old man tolerated for the most part, but to be written into the will, and to such a significant degree, came as nothing short of a shock to him. At the time of his grandfather's passing, Trey was twenty-three, and living in an apartment about twenty minutes from his grandfather's estate. He would come by every evening to share a glass of wine and a game of chess with his grandfather, which he had never thought much of, but apparently the company had meant more to the geezer than he really knew.

And using that terminology, 'geezer,' 'old man,' even 'old bastard' at times wasn't something that Trey shied away from, even in front of the man himself, much to his amusement. It was well known throughout the family and beyond that Richard Branning The First was no saint. He was truly and inarguably an asshole to just about everyone in his life, save for his choice favorites. He would yell at the hired help, taunt them, goad them into uncomfortable scenarios, make lascivious and lecherous comments and gazes toward the female members. He would hoard his fortune like Ebenezer Scrooge, refusing to give even a drop even to members of his own family, even when one of his six children fell ill and needed medical attention (all the more shocking that he would choose his postmortem yard sale to benefit children in need). He kicked his dogs until the illness prevented him from using his legs any more, and then he fired the butler that refused to kick the dogs for him.

Perhaps the best example of what a largely insufferable ass he was to those around him was his treatment of one person in particular: The monster girl he had adopted and raised from the time she was barely a year old, Roselyn. It was a mystery to all, maybe even to him, why he had decided he wanted a young woman in his home. It seemed that he wanted nothing more than a target for his anger. From the time she was little to the day that he died, he would follow her around the home, critique and criticize her behavior and mannerisms, belittle her, demand unrealistic things of her that she could never hope to deliver. He even went so far as to strike her across the face one day when she was still little and immature enough to run off with tears in her eyes, but never again after that.

It was almost only when Trey was there that things would be different for Roselyn. In his company, Richard Senior would conduct himself in a more respectable manner, after he had realized how his usual actions would repulse his grandson. A simple "grandpa, what the fuck is wrong with you," the first time he'd ever heard the young man swear at the ripe young age of seventeen, as he'd made some comment about how painfully incompetent Rose was, who was only thirteen at the time, had made sure of that. When Trey was spending time with his grandfather, chatting about this or the other, Richard Senior would treat Roselyn like any other normal person would treat their hired help, even thanking her and complimenting her on her work. But as soon as he left, Richard Senior was back to the spiteful old prick that he truly was.

Perhaps it was because of this, or perhaps because he was the closest thing she'd ever had to someone who actually cared about her, Roselyn grew rather attached to Trey over time. While others didn't treat her nearly as horribly as Richard Senior, it was commonplace for people to act like Monster Girls were what the law defined them as: property. Even the other staff around the house would turn their noses up at her, condescend her, use her as a tool at their disposal. Considering most of her kind was involved in hard labor, sex trafficking, illegal fighting rings, and far darker dealings, her situation could have been worse, but it still hurt to be treated like an animal.

But not by Trey; Trey would sit with her in her quarters when she was younger and watch her color, smuggle in dolls, snacks, and other goodies for her under her grandfather's nose, read her books and help her learn some of what they were teaching him in school (Monster Girls weren't expected to receive a formal education). As they grew older together she began to see him like a big brother, and for more reasons than one she couldn't wait for him to come over each evening, knowing that after Richard Senior went to bed Trey would come and spend time with her for hours on end in the giant mansion until he needed to leave to go home for the night. She had at least someone in her life that would treat her like she deserved. They knew everything about each other.

And maybe that was why it was so surprising when Trey not only bid, but bid enough to win, her from the auction. The thing was, Trey was a student in higher education at the time, and he had enough student loan debt to cripple him for life if he didn't get placed into a good job immediately after his graduation, something that he had lamented to her in the past. He had gotten the cabin from his grandfather but as far as his liquid assets went, he barely had enough to make it through the end of each month, scraping change together by tutoring other students where he could. To think that he had managed to put together enough money to buy her... he couldn't have done that legally.

However he had done it, though, he had saved her from homelessness, or perhaps worse, from going to live with someone who could treat her as horribly as her previous owner, or who would sell her off to an even bigger scumbag. It was just after all of Trey's personal items had been moved into his grandfather's old cabin in the mountains that Roselyn was due to arrive, where she would live with Trey for the foreseeable future.

[Prompt]

So that's the basic idea: Trey and Roselyn move into Richard Senior's old cabin together. It's intended to be fairly simple, basic, and sweet. But there's more to it than that, naturally. Trey wants her to feel like his equal while they're living together, but anytime they have visitors, especially from the family, it will be expected that Roselyn conduct herself like she's his hired help so that no one finds their living arrangement weird. She's only ever been taught to do housework, but maybe she wants to make something of her life in a world that wants to keep her down. Maybe the way that Trey got his hands on enough money to afford her comes back to bite them, and shit hits the fan. This can be as simple or as involved as you'd like, just let me know what you would prefer and I'd be happy to arrange it for you.

I wrote this prompt with the vision that Roselyn would be a kitsune or a wolf-girl, but if you have some other ideas then please don't hesitate to share, as we can modify things as necessary. You can also change her name if you don't like it. It's important to note, in case you haven't gotten the impression from the post yet, this is not a "purchased to be a slave," "fifty shades of gray," or "daddy" kind of prompt, like many others that share a similar theme. If that's what you're looking for, keep looking. I usually play a submissive role, however I think this prompt works best if we play the characters as sexually equal in addition to socially equal, unless you had an idea to make the former work in which case I'm all ears.

You can read more about my writing and sexual tendencies in the pinned post on my profile. I'm available on Reddit as well as Discord. If you're at all interested in the prompt, or you want me and don't care about the prompt, please don't hesitate to drop me a line; I have over thirty prompts that you're welcome to pick from, or you can suggest something else if this just doesn't do it for you. I'm not terribly picky when it comes to what to write.

Thank you for reading, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
