I killed Chi-Yu

Ummm.....so, i was playing Pokemon Violet, and i managed to get Chi-Yu. But somehow, i kill him(💀) If legendarys get fainted, will there be no way to get it back? I didn't see any ball options in the first encounter somehow. Do they respawn somehow? Can anyone help me how to deal with this situation?
