The hypocrisy of Alicent

Today I rewatched The Lord of the Tides. In that episode Alicent covers up the fact that Aegon raped Dyana. In the same episode she works really hard to expose Rhaenyra's "crime" of having bastards. Alicent works so hard to expose Rhaenyra's supposed crimes while she covers up the crimes of other people. She pardoned Ser Crispin for killing Ser Joffrey. She covered for Larys killing his brother and dad. She didn't care about about Ser Crispin killing Lord Beesbury. She's in no position to judge anyone for their morals when she has none herself.
