I just played though 6 and cant help but notice the production value of 5 was so much better.
I get that 6 took things back to OG far cry things but it just became so docile. 5 is just so well done.

They all feel tame in comparison to Primal to me
Primal is the worst fc imo
I would argue that 6 had more production value into it, but I feel that fc5 had much more heart and soul out into it, and is definitely the superior game
6 was made in the middle of global lockdowns, considering that, it’s incredible it got made at all.
Ohh I've played both but in my opinion FC6 has more details all over the map, plus If you look at Ubisoft's YT channel you can see all the production they did. for example, in the music and voice actors. I feel FC6 has more love than FC5 (again IMO) Ubisoft made an amazing job in both games!
Maybe the FC6's story is not the best but I loved how they developed Dani and all the voice lines they did for her.
I just started FC5 again and realized how much more "realistic" the games looks, they went back to cartoon style. Also all the NPC are bots and the game just feels boring. IMO. I agree they are both good, I just think 5 is better story and npc, and not as cartoony
I agree from a protagonist standpoint it was a solid move. But as others say things became so repetitive and side missions felt forced.
tbh, I think 6 is a pretty ass game, due to the repetitive everything like we've seen it all before, in different settings and with slightly less detail
