R5: I finally was able to succeed as Deseret in the 1.2 beta. I didn't have much time to intervene in other places outside of North America and never hit #1 GP, but it was still super fun and satisfying.
Hey I tried this before the beta, how did you do it? I noticed nobody would migrate to my state and nobody would convert religions.
I did have a problem with migration early on so i had to conquer central america to gain access to more pop and relied heavily on industrialization. Using an obligation from the US i easily conquered california, nevada, and arizona from mexico basically instantly. California would be my most populous and developed state for a long time.
For some reason i had very little migration from america, but when i tried as a british protectorate a couple weeks ago, i had tens of thousands of migrants.
Americas pop is pretty weak for some reason, it might be because of the fact that it ne red gets more people than Japan until like 1900
That is genuinely disgusting. Well done
You shoulda seen america before i cleaned it up. Random mexican exclaves, the free states of america in the rust belt, and a large and weak united states underneath that i bullied til i puppeted and annexed them.
STAHP
The handmaids tale
It's Mormon time
It's a shame RP isn't properly rewarded. The mechanics behind religion and culture are not developed enough.
Why graduated taxation? How is it any better than proportional?
taxes the rich who owns the dividends more. if i make less money, so be it.
A shame Mormonism as an Easter egg isn't represented as a religion
Yeah it does suck. Some mods do add some mormon flavor, but i'd like to see pdx add a little themselves. Theocracies should have more flavor in general
It's actually in the code, with a unique icon. My assumption is that it was cut because they couldn't do it justice, and will get added in a late update.
