He’s better than most commentators in the wholeass league
Yvonne Barbashev
That’s a French-ass name, Yvonne.
"Yvonne" is actually much closer to the proper Russian pronunciation than "EYE-vin". https://youtu.be/hNWusqIvBEk?t=117
Reminds me of ivannahumpalot
Love that

Well, this was supposed to be a light-hearted post about a fun goal call but thanks for that
Jon Hamm fucked my wife
I'll never forgive Jon Hamm for sucking all of the fun out of the breakaway competition last year by giving Pietrangelo a higher number than 10 using two cards. Zegras' goal was by far the coolest I have ever seen. Pietrangelo's attempt wasn't even good. He was clearly playing favorites.
I mean, no shit? It was in St Louis and he's a St Louis fan. It's always been a gimmick anyways.
One time I was at a dive bar in LA and Hamm and Bill Hader were sloppy, ugly drunk at the booth connected to ours.
A friend I was with had no idea who they were (and we didn't tell her) and we talked her into asking them if they wanted to buy one of her band's homemade t-shirts (they had just played a gig down the block.)
She stood at the end of their table and showed the shirt and asked if either of them wanted to buy one for $10. Hader didn't say anything. Hamm said "sorry, what the fuck is happening right now? No. I don't want your fucking shirt, get the fuck out of here."
And then we felt bad that we goaded her into it.
Imagine caring this much about the breakaway competition lol

Won't someone think of the sanctity of the...Breakaway Competition!?!?
It's something I like, even if the almighty circlejerk on Reddit doesn't. Zegras took it seriously and did something amazing. The least the judges could do is take it 1% seriously.
There are a lot of celebrity fans, but they're usually fairly casual. Jon Hamm is a full on fan, dude knows the sport, knows the lingo, and everything. You can tell his passion for the team and the sport.
Hammer is a beaut, despite being a Blue's fan.
Yeah you could legit just put that guy in the booth for the whole game and you probably wouldn’t even think twice about it.
He's in the booth for a few shift pretty much (seemingly) any time the Blues are in LA
Have him and Steve Carell call the next ASG and you'll probably get way more people tuning in.
That is a fucking great idea.
Guy has a voice you just want to listen to.
