Is there anything more annoying than your CB fight not going like your trials?

I enjoy my few minutes a day on this game and when the Clan Battle comes around I finally get see what kind of big numbers I can put up. It's fun.

Except there's a problem.

Sooo many times I will trial my teams multiple times to make sure nobody is going to die and screw up my attempt, only for things to go wrong in the actual fight.

Just now I spent 10minutes trying to figure out what character would help my carryover team survive Prisma Hen, I finally figured it out, did 4 trial runs to make sure. And then one of my DPS dies with 20seconds left causing me to do 1.3m less damage than any of my trials.

It honestly kills CB for me and I never see anyone else with this problem. Am I just an unlucker dog? Or is this just an unspoken thing that happens to everyone.

Anyways I'm sure my quality content will be downvoted and ignored but I had to vent cause I am annoyed lol.

It happens to everyone. Vets have mostly come to terms with it at this point. RNG can also work the other way and give you a gigacrit run during the actual. Don't beat yourself up.

Oh I can accept crit rng, that's just how games work. My units dying in the one attempt that matters however does bring my piss to a simmer.

One of the biggest advantages of being in a competitive clan is how there are always 3-4 other people ready to bail you out if you fuck up your own hit...

Until half of the clan ghosts or you're doing the final last hits lol.

But yea, you just have to come into terms with it. Either pause and wait until they kill the boss to save your attempt or just make the most out of the units you have left.

See there's stuff like this that I am just totally clueless about. I never even thought of doing this. I wish I knew more about the mechanics of the CB.

This is where higher clans have an advantage. I don't have to fear rng or failure=death TLs because I can just ask my clan for an ambulance. Someone else will kill the boss and I'll get my run refunded without having to burn a reset.

Sometimes the ambulance also needs an ambluance though... I've seen 16 people dead to the reflect turtle...

Having your clash battle taken by another teammate, understandable, but quite annoying.

Happened to me a few times. Just a brief moment of annoyance and then happiness that clan members are actually doing their hits.

Was running a NYaru comp on Hen and nothing goes wrong in the 6+ trial attempts I did. Start the actual battle, and Yukari crits Anna, causing her to kamikaze the rest of my team and kill Luna and NYaru.

Used freebie to retry, and the same exact thing happened AGAIN.

Now if only that kind of luck would apply EVEN ONCE to a focus gacha 10 pull.

Bruh I had the same exact shit when I was doing the hardest boss in my CB as well. Did one trial run, it went pretty well and as expected, but then when the real match starts, suddenly the boss just casually killed 3 of my characters completely bricked my whole run. I actually malded on that run cuz of how stupid it was bruh.

At this point I just assume Luna is going to do something off-script in the actual run.

Another thing is when you actually have a perfect run and you get a network error and sent back to the title screen. Of course.

I just had this happen to me :x
6million in trial, then 4 million in the actual fight...
The worst one that happened to me was 10 million in trial and then only 6 million in the actual fight, I wanted to cry all the tears of my heart that day T_T

If something like that happens to me, I just force close out the game before timer hits zero and it's like it never happened

Remember u can only use this once per day. If u try doing it 2nd time u will just lose 1 attempt

Yeah definitely, got 7 mil in the trial. Was speechless when I got 4 mil… Guess none of the TP gain went to Nyaryu smh

CB25 so I already come in terms with it, everything is RNG you might or might not crit at some point.

Me doing clan battles solo because I'm too socially awkward to join another clan so I'm at my clans table alone and dont have to worry bout anything. Solo clearing the first two possibly three bosses is a good feeling tho

Come to my clan then, we only require to login everyday (with 7days tolerance before kicking) do the attacks, no matter how much (seriously, there's some guys who do a single shit attack on the first day, and never again), and rarely anybody talks, in general it's just some stickers donation requests. Also, there's some guys who likes hololive, but again, they barely talk

I'm in a just for fun clan. we have like 5 people that are actually high level and do the CB, but we're still around rank 1000

Had a Nyaru comp suddenly go to shit this morning before reset, when I was able to do it previously. Used my freebie do-over. Second attempt was okay until the middle and then the timing got off after that and had to settle for a little over 3 mil. It could have been way worse but not the 11 mil I was looking for which could have set up for a good advancement. I feel like I'm responsible for a lot for this so I feel like I've let everyone down. I hope I can rectify it with today's runs. But it happens. Has ever since the beginning when I would full-auto. Get high scores over and over again in trial. Lose damage in Clash. Once a blue moon get higher damage than expected, these days likely due to crits. Those moments are great lol

While i agree.. there are very rare occasions for me where my attempt is much better than trial

Just practice more until you get good runs on average, or not running comps that has below 50% success rate. For top clans, we can practice runs before CB comes so we can save time on real hits.

This CB is dreadful with the C17 and C30, had to be bailed out 5 times before I can get a hit done. Luna choking hard on C1 and the 30% success rate C30 doesn't help it neither. Still, not AS bad compared to other bosses.

Happened to me last CB. In trial auto using X.Illya lives while in normal auto she dies. Realized that the issue is due to 4x speed in trials (idk why but game speed apparently has impact)

Had to use a bailout card to fix that run (force closing... can only do once a day)

It's always like that. Actual battle never replicates trials. 90% of the time, actual battle goes in the wrong way, and 9% of the time, it stays the same as trial and 1% of the time actual battle is better than trial.

Trial is always worse than the real run.
You should always expect 500k-1M less dmg in the real run.

CB is trash, it's a fact.

0
