Not all bagels are boiled.
only what is known as "water bagels". Dunkin donuts bagels are barely cooked at any time in any way.

I worked at Brueggars, which always had three types of fresh hot bagels at any time.
They'd probably make a profit if they just bought a damned toaster.
Hot bagel with cream cheese or butter is just gross.
