Multiplayer games in 2023 that don't make you feel like you're a decade behind everyone else?

Games like Destiny 2, Warframe, Rainbow Six Siege and Final Fantasy 14 frequently come up as some of the best multiplayer games to play, but these suggestions are terrible because it's either too late to get into them or people have already been playing them for years.

I'd like to get into a multiplayer game that is either just getting started or only has a year or so under its belt. I had hoped Back 4 Blood would fill this need for me but it doesn't have good staying power after you complete everything.

Mostly interested in shooters or games with classes and builds to focus on. I've probably had enough COD in my life, though, so I'm not interested in it.

Ah yeah, that's a great one! I swear I won't be one of those people who has played everything suggested, but this one I actually have put hundreds of hours into already.
