On Jesus entering into humanity.

I was really thinking on how it’s said that Jesus was God who entered into humanity. It’s true and pretty amazing. You look at the way he entered by the immaculate conception of Mary, to the perfect life he lived, to his sacrificial death and resurrection.

He was God in Heaven before any of this ever happened, but he didn’t only issue commands for us to follow from there. He became one of us, entered into humanity and the human condition and conquered our souls from there and made us his.
