I'm convinced that the average online player absolutely hates fun

Rage

Imagine doing nothing but running away and just assaulting the B button in every single match. Never approaching in any capacity, even when down a stock. How is that not the most monotonous, boring playstyle you can imagine, especially in a game that gives you so much freedom of movement? Everyone can play against it, but if I wanted to play an opponent with no sauce whatsoever, I'd play against a CPU. If I won every single match playing like these trashbags I'd never have even one second of fun.

It's absolutely pathetic. Like a guy who goes to the gym to play pickup basketball just to call fouls and shoot free throws every single time he touches the ball. Sure it helps you win, but absolutely nobody respects you or enjoys playing with you.

Some hazards are real fun, just wish we could turn certain stages on/off. There's a 0% chance I'm doing anything other than SDing on Pac-land or 75m

Online smash is basically competitive soccer.

Semi related note, I watch Nairo from time to time and his Zelda with disregard for B button inspired me to play her a bit. I'm here playing Zelda with only using up B for recovery and I have a yLink spamming his projectiles and bread and butter up-b up-air.

My friend mains Zelda and it's infinitely more fun to play with or against him than the average braindead online Zelda. Lightening kick is such a badass move.

I'm adamant that any character can be cool as hell to to play as or against, but way too many people play this game like complete cowards. Except Minmin, fuck that piece of trash.

Lightning kick is basically a rest at 70+ with a hell of a lot less lag.

I didn't play Arms, but from what I've seen Min Min looks very accurate to how that's played, which makes her terrible for smash.

It's so sick, and the sound effect for sweet spot is so crisp too. Wish more Zelda's knew it existed.

100% on Arms, it just doesn't translate to Smash well at all.

honestly i feel this way when facing most people even if i get matched against a person that's just doing what's optimal like with captain falcon and his combos
