How would I have the best shot at getting into entertainment on a cruise ship?

I went on a cruise a few weeks ago and for the first time in my life I've found something I genuinely want to do, I think entertaining people whilst travelling the world on a cruise ship would be just amazing and might make uni debt when I go less painful to try pay off. I am currently 16 and in my first year at college but would love to be able to start up in entertainment once I turn 18, how would I best get into it?
