How the heck do I avoid paying so much in taxes

Asking for advice at this point. After filing, I am paying $4000 in taxes this year for 2022 earnings. But with the projected earnings for 2023 I could be paying upwards of $15000 in taxes and I do not want to. How to avoid? What are some things you do to avoid paying such high taxes?
