New Google TV GUI (surprisingly) live in my 80J today!

I've been reading about the new Google TV GUI rolling out on Chromecast units so I am shocked to see it already on my native Sony GUI tbh.

Anyway, I'm a bit worried that some of the promises that I've read about coming to this update aren't showing up in my experience: I don't see the Shows and Movies strips in my "Home" tab that would replace the now-missing Shows and Movies tab on top.

What's going on??

[UPDATE: I noticed that I was a firmware version behind so I did that update and rebooted to find that all the new Google TV elements are in place now (with user profile switch icon on the left side and a new search/settings tool on the right side) but with all the "classic" Shows and Movies tabs back in place. All good!]

[UPDATE PART 2: As of March 17, the UI has reverted back to the original! WTH?]

[UPDATE PART 3: As of March 24, the UI has gone BACK to the new interface, but with no Shows or Movies tabs anymore. This time, I got a "welcome to the new GUI" screen with a guide to all the changes. HOWEVER, I am missing the "explore even more" strip on the For You tab to get me to those missing Shows & Movies! How can I force those onto the GUI?]
