[Question] Intonation question

Got a new (for me) guitar today! It's a Vintera Jaguar modified HH. Everything seems great but I have a question about the intonation/saddles

Everything seems intonated well, but the G string saddle is way out of line from the others. I know I've read that this doesn't matter as long as the intonation is correct, but I'm still curious how this can happen. Scale length should be even for all strings, shouldn't it? Why should the G string need to be longer?
