Trying to get a jersey

So I almost got a coliseum jersey of CJ for $60 but then decided to wait until he gets drafted and get his NFL one...

But I am wanting to get a buckeyes jersey but is it worth it if the players only play for 2 years, 3 at most? I get it if you like the player but wearing a current player in my opinion is a bit better.

I see the #1 jersey but it has no name and feel like it sorta defeats the purpose of a jersey. Any recommendations?
