International men's day and child abuse day correlation

So, couple of days ago international women's day got me thinking of international men's day (how media never even mentions international men's day, but you are an asshole if you don't literally contact every woman you know to congratulate her women's day), and one thing I remembered was how on the same day is the international child abuse prevention day, which always bothers me, but I always thought it was just a coincidence. Today I thought to research who came up with it, and it no longer seems like a coincidence. Google says it's the Women's International Democratic Federation.
