Recently come to terms with how badly I was wronged in childhood. I would like to know when I can expect the crying to end?

Within the last month or so I have finally fully realized just how fucked up my childhood was and how deeply it has negatively impacted my life. I realize now that I have been completely disconnected from my true emotions as a survival mechanism. I finally let the dam break I suppose, for lack of a better term, which I know is good and everything. It is definitely better than the fugue state I have been in for the past forever. However, this shit FUCKING HURTS. There was a definite reason that I refused to let myself feel the utter loneliness and rage and pure unadulterated sadness. I have been crying every day for the past month or so. This is very new for me. I almost never cry, hince the dissociation. I know I am making progress, and that all this is healthy emotional processing. But IT SUCKS. I just need to vent I suppose but I would like to know that there is light at the end of this shitty tunnel and its worth going through. I mean don't get me wrong I'm not going back but I could use a pick me up.
