How to get a sub and viewer retention

I had my youtube channel back at 2019 but I only post consistently and took youtube seriously this year. I had 14 new subscribers when I started uploading gaming contents but that's it. I posted a lot of videos trying to experiment what will get a more views. Some does better than the other but still not getting a sub.

I studied on how to make thumbnails and even the title so I guess the problem is the content quality but on my type of content for gaming I'd say my videos are good so I don't understand why I am not getting a sub. This is a bit arrogant approach saying my videos are great by myself that is why I'm here sharing this to you guys to gain some insights and help me improve my content .
