Need help regarding plan cancellation and region change

I had a csp ex plan in my ipad. I moved to another county and when the plan expired, payment couldn’t be completed because the payment method is getting declined. I think it’s a problem with the region set in the ipad since I didn’t change it from my home country. The credit card works with my nintendo switch, which has a completely different region as my country, so the credit card works internationally no doubt. Other payment methods from my country doesn’t link properly as well. I’m also returning to my home country next month, so it’s kind of a trouble to change regions in the ipad right now. But if it’s the only way, then I might have to change it and link it with some payment method available here.

If I change my region right now, pay the csp plan here, and change it back to my country’s region when I go back, I would need to cancel the subscription (to change the region to my country’s), right? My question is, can I still use the cancelled sub until the end of the plan period/year without problems?
