Good Ornithology/Encyclopedia of Birds?

What are the best (preferably affordable) books about birds?I'm looking into learning more about birds (behavior, ecology, all the goods) but there are so many options to choose from, what should I be looking for?

(EDIT) I'm looking for birds in any and all regions, but to specify, North America ( all or any states, or Washington State specifically), Russia, and South America.Behaviors, ecology, identification (I asked r/birding for identifications) and general info on birds.
