Futures Grid Bot Discrepancy

I decided to dip my toes into the gridbot on Bybit’s testnet and found absolutely staggering results. Within 2 weeks I experienced about 200% using it simply on BTC/USDT. I just used the AI option using a long bias. Was floored by the speculative results and decided to give it a real try using a similar setup on a live account.

To say the results are disappointing is saying the least. -5% using the bot live. Could be worse, but a far cry from the actual results. All the while the testnet bot is still soaring in profitability.

I’m thinking bybit may be manipulating the data on the testnet to encourage people to try it live to experience similar results which seem far from the truth. I’ve seen the stats and people seem to only get those exaggerated results on extremely niche small cap coins. If you’ve noticed, in the performance leaderboard it’s all the same coin for one day, then the other day it’s a completely different one.

Anyone else experiencing something similar?
