Need help with an explanation to a practice question.
So I was analyzing my mistakes on a recent practice exam (A+) and couldn't digest the correct answer's explanation. The question-
Susan, a computer technician, received a complaint from a client about an issue with their laptop. Based on the symptoms observed, she believes that there is an issue with the laptop's memory. Which of the following symptoms was MOST likely observed during their troubleshooting?
A) Incorrect time in the BIOS
B) Continuous reboots
C) POST beep codes
D) Distended capacitor
My answer- POST beep codes
Marked answer- Continuous reboots
According to me, 'Continuous reboots' can happen for a broad number of reasons- hardware issues, overheating, driver issues, malware, OS corrupted files, etc. It doesn't really point toward memory specifically. POST beep codes on the other hand are specific codes to narrow down issues with bad memory, supply, etc. I may be wrong or missing something and need help understanding.
