Holodeck

OK I'm a late to the game star trek fan. In the last 5 yrs I've seen all of tos, next generation and voyager. Also discovery and picard. I didn't like deep space 9 so havent seen it all. I feel like the first 2 seasons of picard were much more like discovery and now its like next generation which is so much better already. My question relates to the holodeck, in the most recent picard they were supposedly in 10 forward getting a drink. Are you drinking fluid if you are drinking something on the holodeck? My follow up question is, you go to the bathroom in 10forward holodeck and do a stinking alcoholic dump... is that still there when the simulation disappears? Appreciate all input from star trek savants 😀
