Medical wigs?

Hello, I don't have alopecia but I do have hidradenitis suppurativa on my scalp so I have to shave my head to prevent flare-ups. What has getting a medical been like for those of you who have? I know it's not the same thing but I haven't been able to find much discussion of medical wigs for HS and I can't see my derm for a few months. Thank you
