Series vs Guides?
I'm about half way through my first episode of my new series that I'm creating, I'm learning how to edit videos on Adobe Premiere Pro and I'm having fun. I've been up night after night working on this project and I'm stoked for it to come out! I just have a few intrusive thoughts I'd like to bring light to.
1.) Is making a series something that makes someone stand out when they're a new creator or do they fall into the category of everyone else?
2.) Are guides more efficient for growth of the channel? (i.e shorter form content)/ content that takes much much less time to record & edit.
3.) Let's imagine your favorite content creator just made a new series.. Would you rather see episodes more frequent but are around the 10-12min mark per vid or would you rather have an episode a week lets say thats upwards to 25-30mins per episode?
I know to just make the content I want at the end of the day & that it's bad to look at the statistics of everything. But it's also a chase in it's own to see the number go up or that you kept viewers retention for longer and longer each video. I'm scared for the opportunity cost of making this series, like I could be pumping out 3/4 videos a week of short formed guides or easier to grasp content then a series! Anyways I would appreciate any feedback and I'm not trying to spread hate towards anyone, there's no wrong option. I just like hearing others feedback! Ty again (:
