Is Radagon an avatar for the main Erdtree?
After taking a look at the absorption and status resistance of Radagon and Erdtree Avatars:
For dmg type:
Radagon: Standard/Slash/Pierce: 35. Strike: 10. Magic/Lightning: 20. Fire: 0. Holy: 80.
Avatars: Standard/Slash/Pierce: 0. Strike: 0. Magic/Lightning: 20. Fire: -40. Holy: 40.
For status:
Radagon: Poison/Rot/Frostbite: 627.4. Bleed: Immune. Sleep: Immune.
Avatars: Poison/Rot: 1163. Bleed: Immune. Frost: 661. Sleep: Immune. (using the weakest as example, later ones have increase values but stays the same pattern)
So back deduction from the similarity of stat, which is sorta one of a kind in the game as far as I see (high resis to holy low resis to strike and fire, only immune to bleed), and ignoring the lore for a second, Radagon seems to be in some way a similar type of being as the erdtree avatars.
Considering most minor erdtrees have a avatar next to them, rotten or not, I would assume that Radagon acts as the avatar equivalent for the main erdtree with the stat proof in conjunction of the lore implications.
Maybe Radagon is a magnifistation of the devotion Marika has towards the erdtree and 2 fingers, which can explain why Marika herself also later betrayed the golden order, since the part of her that has a strong devotion is separated from her.
