Anyone else suffer the same symptoms?
I met a man fishing on the beach yesterday. We talked for ages. He mentioned his daughter has just been diagnosed with MS. He told me that she couldn't handle the light in her room. He went in there and said it was completely dark, except for a crack of light coming through the top of the curtains. She was almost screaming that it's too bright and she can't handle it. He told me that he thought she was going mad. Losing her mind. He might need to take her somewhere.
I have the same thing. When I'm flared up, even the smallest amount of light, is too much. Even that little crack of light peeping through the curtains. I told him that the best thing to do was believe her. It's a thing.
Does anyone else suffer from the lights being too bright? Noises being too noisy?
I feel like I was meant to meet that man on the beach. If anything just to give him that advice and reassurance that it's not in her head. And to give me some reassurance that I'm not crazy. Because the doctors will think you're crazy and the psycs will tell you it's psychosomatic. But I really don't think it is.
