Bros! I need help! I'm new and I can't get my MPC set up.

I mean MPK, sorry

I plug it in and it works with Bandlab online fine, but since Bandlab is online I get ridiculous latency. My issue is I can't get it to work with any other DAW. It shows the MPK as the input in settings, but I can't get any sound to come out and the DAW doesn't register any of the keys I play. I'm gonna go crazy!

MPC is AKAI Professional MPK Mini MK3 - 25 Key USB MIDI Keyboard Controller With 8 Backlit Drum Pads, 8 Knobs

DAWs I've tried are Cakewalk, whatever one came with the Akai MPK, and Magix MM.

Tips? Do I need to screen record my settings so you can see?
