Surgery Approved!!!!

I got my surgery approved guys! I can’t believe it! 🥺 I’ll do it on 03/22 and I’m freaking out right now lol The process was waaaay faster than I was expecting (about 3 months only - I say “fast” because coming from another country where people take at least 1 1/2 - 2 years to finally do the surgery, 3 months was CRAZY to me lol) I feel prepared and I know I want this more than anything, but still feel a little overwhelmed and doubtful about my decision. But at the same time I get this really GOOD feeling that I’m finally doing something for myself, that THIS is the best decision I had made. I’m a mess of emotions right now, sorry lol

I only need to do one DAY of pre-op liquid diet and that sounds so weird to me comparing to everything I have being reading! (My bariatric team said that if your BMI is under 45 you do one day, between 45 and 50 you do one week and over 50 you do two weeks). Does anybody else experienced that? I know every place has their on rules, just curious about it.

And the classic question: What should I REALLY get before the surgery that probably will “save my life”? Lol I have my Amazon cart FULL of things and I’m trying to stop myself so I don’t spend $400 worth of stuff that I might not even need. D: I’d appreciate any tips and thank you so much for reading this 😊
