Mine too!!! When I come home from work she meows at me and I'm like "so cute she loves me!" I put my jacket on the bed and she starts laying on it and purring. It was not me she wanted but the jacket! 😂

That's a very pretty kitty! And she's got a little white 'bikini' the same as ours does! Ours will also make you think that she's being affectionate by coming up to us on the sofa - but sometimes all she wants is for whoever she's chosen to move so she can steal the warm spot they've left behind on the cushions!

Yours too?! Mine has also claimed my coat! I have a super fluffy coat, and when I put it on the couch my tortie often curls up on top of it and snuggles into it. She then gets a boost in tortietude whenever I try to retrieve and use it. She's like "no, you left this here, it's now mine!"

I think we first discovered her affinity for coats last year - I'd left mine on the sofa and she became absolutely obsessed with being with it at all times. And even though she's usually pretty tolerant of affection, she became Grumpletron 2000 whenever she settled on that damn coat and wouldn't entertain you taking it away or giving her pets. It's a different coat in the picture and weirdly enough, she's much less angry when it comes to defending this one.

Ours doesn't really go for laundry, but she does love shoes...we found her in the shoe cupboard one day just going to town, sniffing them all. It's a good thing she's cute!

Does she always look this angry or have you upset this lovely little lady?
She's got a face that is absolutely incapable of looking anything other than mildly/incredibly enraged. I think it's her little orange chin and the eyebrow markings, they make her constantly look like she's frowning and chin-wobbling. That was what drew us to her when we were looking around the shelter we got her from.
