Sold my FRC C5 back in September after owning it for a decade, and my S2000 a few weeks ago. I’ve been pretty bummed not owning a sports car and felt like something was missing in my life. I was originally looking at a 996 Turbo, Gen 2 GTS, C7 GS or Z, C6 ZR1, 03-04 Cobra, and GT350’s. I had bought tickets to go to Ohio last weekend to look at one C6Z but not even 10 minutes after I bought the tickets someone walked in a bought it, feeling bummed I went on CarGurus on looked at something just local to me to see if there was ANYTHING else out there and this one had just been put on the lot, went to look at it a few hours later, drove it for 20 minutes, came back and put a deposit down, and the rest is history. I had a scheduled visit for a ZR1 but even this thing is insane, I can’t even imagine what a ZR1 is like.

Was this from a Chevy dealer in the PNW or a Porsche dealer?

I bought mine in Houston and the one I had tickets to go look at that sold like 5 seconds later was in Ohio, Bedford I think?

That’s great you decided on the C6Z I wouldn’t mind having a Porsche sometime myself but nothing like a Z06

I feel horrible driving it because it’s such a clean example and I can’t stop.

Go put some miles on it and you'll feel much better. Trust me!!!

Somebody saved it just for you. Drive it. It’s what it was made for. It’s not an investment or anything like that. Take care of it sure, but drive it. They are quite durable anyway. Mine is up to 105k and still looks and drives like it’s new.

Congratulations!

I know that feeling. Every year when I take it out of hibernation, I always say in my mind, "Man, it feels so good to be back in the Z06".
