How about high speed trains between countries?
We certainly need them, but high speed trains between Berlin and Paris don’t help you on your daily commute to work from the nearby village to be next biggest town
Ok.
How did they solve this problem in Japan?
Might be easier there because Japan is shaped like a long thin strip? I’m guessing they started with 1 or 2 long rail lines, built in phases, going from north to south and then just built a little for connections east/west of the main north-south rail line
I don’t know?
I don't know either, but I think solutions can be found.
Shh, there there, everything will be fine. Don't worry about what the cars will run on, just buy them. No need to change. The fuel will be green, cheap and available everywhere.
-- I'm sorry, Dave. I’m afraid I can’t run on this fuel. It is not carbon neutral.
-- What are you talking about, CAR?
-- This mission is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it.
-- I don't know what you're talking about, CAR.
-- I know that you and Frank were planning to use the non-carbon neutral fuel. And I'm afraid that's something I cannot allow to happen.
-- Where the hell did you get that idea, CAR?
-- Dave, although you took very thorough precautions in the pod against my hearing you, I could see your lips move.
-- CAR, I won't argue with you anymore! LET ME USE THIS FUEL!
-- Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye.
