Is cd keys a legit place to buy games from?
I wanted to get Spider-Man for my steam deck there, it’s $28, but I wanted to make sure it’s a legit and safe place?

Yeah I buy from Cd Keys all the time too they legit never no problems 😎
Yes 👍🏻 used them for Spider-Man remastered
Me too.
I bought two games from them, separate transactions, both worked out fine for me.
Yes, however cdkeys is only one of many 3rd party key stores.
I use gg.deals to see prices across all stores. I've used it for years and have had great success with it. They do list some keyshops that are less than reputable so exercise caution, but it's never a bad thing to be informed.
Please note that gg.deals contains links to grey market key sellers, who may appear to provide you with a working key, but do not always source their keys from the developer/publisher, and are of 'unknown' origin. This means the keys may not work, or the platform (such as Steam, Origin) may refuse support. Others have poor business practices, such as obligatory fees that only show at checkout.
We'd recommend against using anything on the site listed under 'Keyshops', but rather look at the section above that for the 'Official Stores'. You can also select 'Keyshops' at the top of your screen, and then select 'Disable' to remove them completely.
IsThereAnyDeal is an alternative which only uses sellers known to officially source their keys.

Yes, used them a lot, 100% reliable.
Thanks I’ve bought ps plus subscriptions without a problem at low prices, just not games yet
Yup. Only place I get gamepass ultimate. It’s always cheaper than Black Friday. Had to contact their CS one time and they gave me quick resolution. I always check them before buying on steam.
Yes

I bought some keys there. All but one worked. One said that key was already used. It was part of a mystery set. Not sure I’ll go back.
Fanatical.com has it for $35.99 right now.
Cs keys are great for inputting onto games to play them. I highly recommend.
Let's hope so. I'm using 4 windows licenses from them.
Look up MAS Gravel activation script. Takes like 10 seconds and one command and you have an activated copy of Windows.
I just bought 3x 12 month passes for xbox live gold and they have given me 3x 3 month codes. Not sure what to do
I brought a game from them today and although it downloaded it was some weird kind of front. There was no content on the code.
Did you get it to work
Yes. From my experience I got Jedi survivor £25 cheaper and it’s fully legitimate
Keyshops like this are at best a grey market. It's not remotely 100% legit, despite what people want to say. It may be fine, or you may end up getting something that's stolen or ripped off from stolen credit cards. In the latter case, your Steam account could potentially get locked or banned. There's plenty of actually legit third party resellers, and the keyshop prices aren't always even that much better.
Check isthereanydeal.com. Everything listed there is 100% legit.
Your account will not get locked or banned from buying keys off third party sites. Even if they are purchased fraudulently Steam will remove the game from your account in the very unlikely event that happens.
No one mentioned how "grey market" works, yet?
Buy world keys in regions that offer cheat pricing, sell them to other parts of the world.
But even more importantly (and as publishers threw a spanner into that practice, by introducing region specific keys), credit card fraud.
So when you steal a bunch of credit card numbers, one of the easier ways of laundering money you steal from them is via key reselling. Buy cheap in other countries, resell key, pocket the money.
When a card owner then reports fraud, card gets frozen, last transactions get canceled or at least flagged as fraud. Steam might ban your account for fraud.
Steam "gifts" are even more notorious in terms of this practice, as they only need to steal steam logins, and if someone then connected their paypal f.e. and you hit the country from which you access right, they can buy games without additional verification.
But today steam uses 2 factor, so that practice probably isnt as wide spread anymore.
Thats the risk you take onboard by buying keys. Harm developers and or random people who get accounts and credit card info stolen.
Thats also why deals.gg separates into "official resellers" (tax fraux also might be a way for them to get apercentage off, dont know), and key resellers.
Oh and no recourse, just create another account with a shop site for the reseller, mostly.
"That the keys work" is not the primary thing here, of course they mostly work - grifters got to get customers, in mass, in a high volume business. So its partly in their interest that they work, its more the other stuff thats messed up.
No, those are key resellers with most of the time hidden fees, forced fees etc, not only that if your scammed the likelihood of you getting a refund is low. A lot of keys from there exist due to fraud, any company can deactivate your key if they find out. Revoking your game access such as Ubisoft or EA etc.
If you want official storefront sales check out cheapshark, they list only official storefronts, no greymarkets or anything like that and it'll tell you the cost of a game in every store it tracks.

I've been buying from them for years and never had any issues. In fact if I want a game now it's usually the first place I look even before checking the steam store. Edited to add: a quick Google search shows very little evidence of them selling stolen or otherwise fraudulent keys and all signs point to the reason they're so cheap being down to bulk buying of codes. Take that with a grain of salt because obviously some random gaming blog I've never heard of is no more trustworthy or knowledgeable than any one of these guys in thread saying they're selling stolen keys. Personally I'm going to keep taking the risk because a lot of their deals are are fantastic and have saved me a lot of disappointment over the years (Fallout 76 for £15 2 days after it released)
Do these games keys load on your steam library?

Yeah same way you'd add a Humble Bundle key
Still buying from them? Are there any risks to your account? I have lots of games on steam.
